Oats Makhana Chivda

Here in Singapore, school hours are long. We have to pack both lunch and snack boxes for our kids. I am always anxious about what to pack as a healthy snack without compromising the taste. I try to give a healthy twist to traditional snacks. Phool Makhana, known as fox nut or lotus seed, is a popular snack in North India. Oats-Makhana chivda is a crunchy and wholesome snack version for kids. We can make them in huge batches and store them in an airtight container. Adding nuts and seeds make it healthier, tastier, and a go-to  snack option for both travel and school snack box.
