Cookies are universally loved desserts that delight people of all ages from kids to adults. My son Aarav is no exception—he goes crazy whenever he sees cookies. As a fussy mom, I always keep a close eye on what my child eats and strive to give him the best.
While store-bought cookies are undeniably tasty, most of them are made with all-purpose flour, which I prefer not to give my son frequently. That’s why I decided to create a homemade version using whole wheat flour and controlling the sugar quantity. Trust me when I say, these cookies turned out so well that my son couldn’t even tell they were made at home.
Being a vegetarian, I wanted to make an eggless version that would be just as delicious as traditional cookies. These eggless whole wheat cookies are incredibly simple to prepare and can be ready in just 45 minutes.
We love enjoying these cookies with a glass of warm milk during breakfast time. They also make the perfect snack option for travel, and I often pack them in my son’s lunchbox to satisfy his sweet tooth.
