  • ¼ cup green peas (boiled)
  • ¼ cup paneer, crumbled
  • ¼ cup grated carrot
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder (optional for kids)
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds powder
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1–2 tsp oil for greasing appe pan

Step-by-Step Instruction

1. Mix all ingredients

In a large bowl, add all ingredients as shown in picture.
Oats flour, mashed sweet potato, boiled peas, crumbled paneer, grated carrot, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, cumin powder, and oregano.
Mix everything well.

2. Rest the mixture

Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
This helps the oats absorb moisture and bind better.

3. Shape into small balls

Take small portions and roll them into mini bite-sized balls.

4. Cook in appe pan

Heat an appe pan and grease each cavity with a little oil.
Place the balls and shallow fry on low–medium heat.
Turn them gently until all sides become crispy and golden brown.

5. Serve hot

Enjoy them warm with ketchup, green chutney, or a creamy yogurt dip.

Yogurt Beetroot Dip (Ready in 1 Minute)

This dip takes the snack to the next level.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp beetroot puree
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of cumin seeds powder

Method:
Mix everything together until smooth. That’s it!

Don’t skip the 10-minute resting

  • It gives perfect binding.
  • If the mixture feels sticky, add 1–2 tbsp more oats flour.
  • If it feels too dry, add 1–2 tsp water or yogurt.
  • You can add finely chopped spinach, corn, or grated beetroot for extra nutrition.
  • Adjust chilli powder according to your toddler’s preference.
  • Cook on low heat so the inside cooks well and the outside becomes crispy.
